Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Who we are
MindOptimal (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website tomdyn.com and provides AI-powered personality, psychology, and divination tools. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at support@tomdyn.com.
2. What data we collect
- Quiz and tool inputs. The answers you provide to our quizzes and the text you submit to our tools. This input is processed to generate your result.
- Account information (if you create one): email address, hashed password, and your purchase history.
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor Stripe. We receive a transaction confirmation, never your full card number.
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, anti-abuse browser fingerprint, and timestamps. We use this for rate-limiting, analytics, and security.
- Cookies and local storage: see Section 6.
3. How we use your data
- To generate, deliver, and let you share your tool results.
- To process payments and deliver premium reports.
- To prevent abuse and enforce per-user rate limits.
- To improve our tools, prompts, and content.
- To send transactional emails (purchase receipts, password resets). We do not send marketing email without your explicit opt-in.
4. AI processing via third-party APIs
To generate your results, we send your quiz answers and free-text inputs to third-party large-language-model providers, including DeepSeek and OpenAI. These providers process your input solely to return a response and are contractually prohibited from using it to train their models. We do not send personally identifying information (your email, payment details, or account ID) to these providers.
5. Payments via Stripe
All purchases are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, and payment method directly. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and we never see or store your full card details. Their privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of essential cookies and browser local-storage entries to remember your preferences (theme, language) and to implement anti-abuse rate-limiting. We use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not set tracking cookies and do not collect personal data. We do not sell your data to third parties and do not run advertising networks.
7. Data retention
Tool inputs and generated results are retained for as long as needed to deliver the share link you created (typically 30 days for free users, indefinitely for premium-report purchases). Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
8. Your GDPR rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or any jurisdiction with comparable data-protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@tomdyn.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
MindOptimal is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and, if you have an account, via email. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
